Loyal Jackalope Followers!
The Jackalope is one of the most intriguing and seldom-seen creatures thought to roam the plains of North America. Somehow, the unimaginable genetic mix of a jackrabbit and antelope captures our imagination. Many claim to have seen them alive...but no one can provide proof.
If the jackalope does exist, it is an animal to be respected. Despite being petite, the jackalope is said to have strength several times it's body size. Their speed is rumored to be upward of 90 mph. on an open plain, much faster than the cheetah. And their razor-sharp claws and teeth are just as lethal to flesh as the antlers on their heads.
Luckily, the elusive jackalope generally avoids humans and their settlements. They are thought to be docile and even playful on the whole, but can unleash a terrible ferocity when attacked. Unwise would be the people who made a deliberate move to conquer the jackalope's territory, for they guard it with a vengeance.
Through this site, we hope to educate and entertain you, as well as to give you a new appreciation for the furry critters. We will also offer an opportunity to follow the Keyframe Entertainment production of the new film, Lair of the Jackalope. While the film is a work of fiction, it will offer a warning of the potential disaster an all-out human/jackalope encounter could hold.
